Miriam Elia has released We Go To The Gallery, a satirical comment on contemporary art, and an homage to Ladybird books. Penguin found her imitation of the trademarked Ladybird style to be a bit too accomplished for their liking and prevented her from selling any more books. Miriam used this as an incentive to redesign We Go To The Gallery and is proud to release her new book for the “Dung Beetle reading scheme”.
The title was first published as an artist limited edition. The book has now been released in an unlimited commerical print run at a lower price.
