To accompany the Saatchi Gallery’s exhibition, Gesamtkunstwerk: New Art from Germany, Gert & Uwe Tobias have worked closely with the Gallery’s team to create a limited edition, signed and numbered original lithograph.
This limited edition print by Gert & Uwe Tobias shows two heads in a dark and diffuse light. Their appearance wells up like anthropomorphic condensations of the nocturnal atmosphere. Employing a graphic language all of their own, shapes and colours run into one another (transparent here, opaque there) to create a very dynamic and atmospheric drawing. Each lithographic print has been printed by hand on stone.
