VOYDER has spent the last twenty years developing his multidisciplinary practice to evolve from purist graffiti tagging and wild style piecing, to figurative oil painting.Â
Nowadays he’s best known for combining the two on large scale mixed media paintings.
Using a tag or a simple wipe as a way into these otherwise distorted images, VOYDER plays with the idea of layers, one layer obscuring what lies beneath, which only becomes visible through the graphic emblazoned across the front of the image.Â
