Ben Frost was born in Australia in 1975. He currently works in Canada.
Confronting and often controversial, Ben’s imagery critiques the attraction and repulsion we experience everyday, in our consumer obsessed society. Carefully recycling iconography from our advertising littered environment, he subverts and manipulates these images into multi-layered surfaces that represent an alternative and perhaps more ‘truthful’ representation of what is behind the façade of modern society.
